

The Kaylana Lake in Jodhpur was constructed by Pratap Singh, the erstwhile Prime Minister of Jodhpur in 1872. Spread over an area of 84 sq km, this artificial lake is located in an area that once abounded in palaces and gardens that were destroyed to make way for the construction of the Kaylana Lake. Today, the irrigation department has an office near the lake.
The Kaylana Lake is a perfect spot for picnickers to enjoy a relaxed time.
